Dental insurance?

My stepdaughter in the future may need to have braces.........I need to know of any good dental insurance I can purchase that would help pay on these and other dental work........thanks in advance

Dental insurance?
Dental Insurance will only cover certain things with limits, deductibles, claims, qualifications, health check, Some require 6-12 months before usage and a high monthly payment. Not that there is nothing wrong with having them, but there is alot of limits of what is covered and what is not. I have Insurance and also great dental plan from

www.healthsavings.ourperfectcard.com

I signed up with them online about 3 years ago. They have saved me alot money for all my dentistry work, without claims forms, age limits, no deductibles, no paperwork, no contracts and no waiting period. They have benefits for all services including braces and orthodontic treatment. I never used it for that reason, but I know they cover it. I used them for extractions, root canals, cleanings, exams etc. I have used my regular insurance for minor things since there is limit of coverage, and then use my Dental plan for the rest. They had my benefits active in 2 hours and it only cost me pennys on the dollar. Hope this helps and Good Luck
Reply:I'll tell you what, dental work is so expensive that every dental insurance plan I have had only pays a fraction of the cost. Its not really like health insurance that pays most of the cost. Of course it doesn't cost as much either.
Reply:There are a few ways you can do this. If you have an HSA (Health Savings Account) through your job, you could fund the braces with that money, then you wouldn't need to purchase additional dental insurance. Or, you could purchase a dental plan that is a discount program. The braces would be covered at a 40% discount. You will have to research the carriers available to you in your area. The other way is to enroll in your employer sponsored plan if it is available. On this plan Orthodontics are probably only covered up to $1500.
Reply:I know how to get the discounts your looking for. Come check out my site www.mybenefitsplus.com/coberry

Reply:Your best bet might be to go through your employer to see what dental plans are available, and the out-of-pocket cost to you to have it.

Then weigh it out.. it it will be more to pay for it annually than the total fee for the braces would be, you may want to reconsider. But, if you and your family need dental work such as crowns, bridges, etc.. it may be feasable to get it.

~Hope this helped.
