Dental insurance?

what does basic%26amp;major restorative include in dental insurance?

Dental insurance?
Basic includes things like fillings and usually root canals. Major restorative is crowns and bridges. The two groups may have different coverage...such as 80% Basic, 50%Major. This means the ins co will pay that percentage of "usual and customary" fees. (They determine this from info gathered by many dentists in the region.) Your human resources dept should be able to send you a book listing what each group includes. Otherwise call the 800 # on the back of the card.
Reply:dental insurance does not usually cover all of your dental process. i know a few people that only get covered less then 40%
Reply:That could mean that the dental specialists are not included.

Check with the entity that gave you the insurance.
