Dental Insurance to cover Invisalign?
First of all, you have to understand what insurance is meant to do - cover a "risk" of an event that might happen, like a car accident.

When you "know" you are going to have something happen (Invisalign), you can't ask a company to pay for that event out of money you haven't paid in. In other words, no insurance company is going to simply give you money. They would have to charge you more in premiums than they pay out or they would go out of business rather quickly.

The good news is, payment plans are available. Many dental offices offer health care credit cards such as Dental Fee Plan or Care Credit. Or, you could borrow the money from your parents and pay them back interest free.

Seeing a well-qualified general dentist may save $$$ over a specialist (orthodontist). Good luck! I think you will love the results of Invisalign.
