What is the best dental insurance?

Which is the better dental insurance ,Bluecross/bluesheild or Delta Dental?Have you used these dental insurances before?

What is the best dental insurance?
We use Delta; however, we were told by our state provider of our pension benefit that both offered identical coverage here. From what I was able to research, and from conversation with my dentist's billing/collections clerk who does all the filing, she says that the only difference she can see is that Delta pays a few days sooner than BC/BS.
Reply:brushing and flossing Incorporated lol "On a more serious note bluecross/bluesheild"
Reply:There is no way to answer this question. Both of these companies offer a variety of plans according to what the employer spends. Either one or both could be good, fair, or poor.

If you have a choice, take the information to your regular dentist and ask if they accept those plans and if they are "preferred providers" for either.

It is not the insurance company that determins what is covered, it is the employer who pays for the plan.
Reply:Jewel, If you told us what criteria you have for determining

what is better, we could better help you. Please clarify.
