"Does anyone know of Dental Insurance for Adults?'?

I am 29 years of age. I would like to get Invisilign done to my teeth. What would be an excellent Dental Insurance for my teeth. It has to be a low rate.

Most cosmetic Work is not covered by insurance plans. Your best bet would be to check with local dentists in your area to check costs and see if payment plans are offered. I was a patient of BrightNow Dental ( I believe these offices are located throughout the U.S.) and they offered competative prices and also offer a line of credit ( a dental credit card ). If you are low-income, you could look into your state or county medicaid program, but they may not cover this service either. I know in Ohio, medicaid won't even cover a root canal.
Reply:Does your employer not offer a health/dental insurance plan?

If you are a student, doesn't your school offer one?

In either case, you need to shop not only by price, because a cheap plan may not cover an advanced treatment like "Invisalign" or may only pay 1/3 to1/2 of the price,
Reply:Most insurance won't cover invisalign, orthodontia, implants, veneers, or cosmetic procedures.
Reply:Unfortunately, very few (if any, really) insurance plans would cover braces, as they're not medically necessary- they're considered "cosmetic".

I advise this to other folks asking money-related dentistry questions on this site, but you might consider a dental school, if your area has one. The prices are often around a third the price of a private practice.
